        Privacy First: Winmail.dat Opener Pro is built with a "Privacy by Design" philosophy. We do not collect, store, or transmit your email content or attachments. All processing occurs locally on your device.
    

1. Information Collection

We believe in data minimization. Winmail.dat Opener Pro does NOT collect, upload, or share any of the following:

Contents of your emails or subjects.
Attachment files (DAT, MSG, OFT, etc.).
Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name or email address.
Location data or device identifiers.
Usage statistics or tracking analytics.

2. Local Data Processing

The core functionality of the app—parsing and extracting TNEF (winmail.dat) and Microsoft Outlook (MSG) files—is executed 100% locally on your device.

Parsing: File extraction happens within the device’s temporary memory (RAM).
Sandboxing: Files are handled within the app's secure sandbox, preventing unauthorized access by other applications.
No Cloud Processing: No data is ever sent to a remote server for conversion or viewing.

3. Third-Party Services

The app does not use third-party SDKs that track user behavior. We do not sell your data to any third parties because we do not have access to it in the first place.

4. Permissions

We only request the minimum permissions required for the app to function:

File Access: Necessary to open and save the attachments you explicitly choose to interact with.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since we do not store your data on our servers, we have no data to delete. Any files you open are stored in the app's local storage on your device. You can delete these files at any time by:

Deleting specific files within the app's history/list.
Uninstalling the app, which automatically wipes all associated local data.
