Data Processing on Your Device
PST to MBOX is designed to work offline. Your PST files, email messages, attachments, and exported .mbox files are processed and stored only on your device and in locations you choose.
Files and Permissions
The app accesses files only when you select them via the macOS file picker (or when you grant permission to a folder), and only for the purpose of viewing PST content and exporting to .mbox.
Network Access
PST to MBOX does not require network access for its core features. If the app includes optional network features (such as checking for updates), they do not transmit your PST content, emails, or attachments.
Third-Party Services
We do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. Your email content is never uploaded to our servers.
Data Retention
We do not store your data on our servers. Any files you open or export remain on your device until you delete them.
Security
Because processing is performed locally, your data remains under your control. We recommend keeping your Mac updated and using strong device security settings.
Children’s Privacy
PST to MBOX is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
